Vertical Attitude Metal Recycle LTD. is a second-generation family-run scrap metal recycling firm.
Founded in the 1950s in Wanli, located in Tainan’s Southern District, the company has always
devoted itself to the scrap metal recycling business.

With over 50 years of experience in the handling, processing and recycling of scrap metals,
Vertical Attitude Metal Recycle LTD. has grown from its original focus on scrap car metals and
electronic equipment recycling to develop new technologies for the refining and extraction of
precious metals such a gold, silver and copper from computer chipsets, etc.

During the Vietnam War, the U.S. Government set up military bases and facilities across Taiwan,
which naturally resulted in a huge volume of scrap military provisions, supplies and electronic
equipment throughout the War.

Taking advantage of the business opportunities that arose, the Company’s founders started
exporting processed scrap metals and established a complete vertical specialization model with
other firms, with us sending shipments of metals to downstream smelting firms for refining and
remanufacturing before exporting to South East Asian countries.

Nowadays, apart from advanced extraction, refining and processing of precious metals in our
Taiwan Factory, we have also set up factories in China and Vietnam for the processing and recycling of other scrap metals.

Due to our technical prowess, we are now mainly focused on the recycling and trade in precious
metals, and also involved in government tenders and the recycling of cables for the telecommunications industry, such as AT&T’s undersea cable replacement projects.

From the photographs provided, you can observe the evolution of the scrap metal recycling trade and materials over the span of 50 years.

Technological progression should be accompanied by advancements in the processing and recycling of  advanced new materials being introduced to the market.  We hope Vertical Attitude Metal Recycle LTD.can play our part in the recycling industry by combining our experiences and expertise accumulatedover the years for the development of new processing and recycling
technologies.Naturally, we welcome all comments, feedback and advice. Please get in touch for further discussions.
